Yellow Angel Trumpet Flower Spirit
This yellow trumpet flower was looking at me very solemnly. His eyes are wide and deep and he is covering his mouth. He told me that is because he is relaxing and enjoying sun – e.g. he is not going about his business of carrying dying souls to the other worlds.
More Information
Angel Trumpet Flower (Brugmansia Suaveolens). Said to be horns by which the angels summon souls. Associated with Gabriel.
Originating in South America, where it was used as a hallucinogen. It is in the nightshade family and so is poisonous. It has a heady nighttime scent.
Like many a plant that has strong positive and negative attributes, the angel trumpet flower creates a stunning display in a garden. It is a very aware plant, mature and capable of communicating with humans.
I found a group of yellow trumpet flowers looking at me very solemnly. Here’s one of that group. His eyes are wide and deep and he is covering his mouth, indicating he is not in action – e.g. is not calling any souls to the other worlds.
This fine fellow lives at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA.
