Spirit of Miners Falls
Miners Falls, Michigan, is located at the end of a scenic dirt trail through very tall trees. At trail end, the National Park Service has built a steep set of stairs that ends at a viewing platform. From there you can look across to a spectacular 40 foot drop of water over the falls. At the base of the falls lives a peaceful rock guardian, protector of small water critters.
More Information

As a symbol of his protection, a collection of the small beings, such as frogs, are sculpted into his rock head.
