This ancient Redwood spirit lives just off the path in the Redwood National Forest, California. This redwood tree has manifested many images around its trunk.

I am very fond of this image, which is a profile of a very large nature being watching over the people who are hiking directly towards him, then abruptly turning right on the trail path.
