This beautiful and intelligent lioness, Isis, came up to the other side of a clear plastic protective wall, locked eyes with me and would not let me leave until she had told me her story.
There is beauty and sadness in this portrait study of Isis, a lioness who lived for a long time at the Brookfield Zoo, Chicago.
