This is a lady of the forest who lives in the city. She is a representation of Yoko Ono as the grieving earth mother and is part of the nature spirit installation at Strawberry Fields, Central Park, NY that honors John Lennon.

Lady of Forest | Manhattan
The Ladies are a type of nature spirit who oversee the birthings, deaths, and well-being of those in their domain. They take on the energy of their particular domain, and work with it for transformation. This lady has suffered much – as has nature in the city – but stays committed to her duties. As a group, I call them the Ladies of the Realm – some are in rocks, others in trees and in various types of settings.
