Howe Caverns Curves

There are thousands of years of colors woven through the tall walls of Howe Caverns, New York.

More Information

Howe Caverns in New York State are formed of limestone that began developing some 6 million years ago. Limestone is a very soft mineral. Over time, water seeping down eroded that soft mineral into vast rooms and slowly grew stalactites and stalagmites with unique forms.

This is a view looking up into an under the earth slot canyon.
