Some areas are portals into fairyland and its activities. This beech tree is one such place. It exists quite humbly in the middle of an island of grass at an apartment complex. The tree itself contains images of fairies and a small heart of love. Fairy rings occasionally form around the tree – perhaps an annual gathering of the wee people?
