This intriguing portal features a descending spirit hand and a full figure guardian at its front door. It resides in the Tekawitha Woods Forest Preserve, Illinois – a property once part of a convent.
About the Photographer
Atala Dorothy Toy is an award-winning photographer who focuses on portrait studies of sentient nature. Whether this is a magnolia expressing itself by bringing forth an exquisite blossom – or a wood elf marking his territory – Atala’s photos pulsate with universal life force energy.
Raised and educated in the Quaker faith, Atala considers herself part of the long lineage of Quaker Mystics who see all creation as varied expressions of one Unity. As an interdimensional communicator, she is accomplished in moving between different realms of beings, each filled with its own form of sentient life.
With a personal library of tens of thousands of her own nature spirit photographs, Atala is now working on comprehensively cataloguing the various type of beings who regularly use trees and rocks as their personal canvases. The material on this website is part of her work. Atala has authored three definitive books on this topic – available, signed by her, on this website. We are Not Alone: A Guidebook to Interdimensional Cooperation explores the soft science of interdimensional cooperation. Nature Spirits, Spirit Guides and Ghosts: How to Talk With and Photograph Beings of Other Realms offers insight into the complex realms that co-exist with us on earth. Truths the Nature Beings Have Shown Me is a collection of over 120 of her photographs of nature spirits.
When you find a nature spirit image that inspires you, we suggest you purchase a print of the image and place it at a location in your home or office where it will inspire you.
