Camel Rock, Colorado

Known as Camel Rock (see the two Kissing Camels upper left), this rock island stands at an entry point into Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. To me, this rock island also looks like a savoir faire world turtle, wearing a French beret, looking up eager to explore, with many different beings held inside his back/shell.

Ant People

Ant People

The Native American cosmology sees the world as situated on the back of a turtle in the cosmic ocean. There are huge two world turtles at Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. One turtle is visible looking from the outside of the Garden and the other from inside. The one visible from the inside contains the bas relief memorial to the Ant People and their rescuing of humans and animals twice in the past, during the change of ages due to fire and then ice.
